NYSED 10 HOUR BASIC MONITOR/ATTENDANT COURSE

 NYSED APPROVED School Bus Monitor/Attendant Course

NYSED Basic Monitor courses are offered and instructed by our independent SBDIs (School Bus Driver Instructors)

A 10-hour basic course that meets the New York State Education Department regulation 156.3 requirement that all attendants and monitors hired after July 1, 2003 take a 10-hour basic School Bus Monitor and Attendant course within their first year of employment. The instructor follows the New York State Education Department approved curriculum as issued by the Pupil Transportation Safety Institute.

We offer this course on a monthly basis, two weekends out of the month from 10-4pm. Once the course is completed, we provide your with the proper credentials to go apply for the school bus company. You must be 21 years of age or old, have a NYS Identification or U.S passport , your social security card and the form of payment.
